When added to rubber materials such as natural rubber and synthetic rubber, silicon dioxide can significantly improve the tensile strength, tear resistance and wear resistance of rubber products. It greatly optimizes the overall mechanical performance while maintaining the light color and transparency of rubber products, which cannot be achieved by ordinary carbon black. It is extensively used in the production of automobile tires, bicycle tires, rubber soles, sealing strips, rubber hoses and silicone rubber accessories. In tire manufacturing, silicon dioxide can reduce rolling resistance, improve wet-skid resistance and lower fuel consumption, helping tires achieve better safety and energy-saving effects. In the coating, paint and ink industry, silicon dioxide serves as a multifunctional auxiliary agent with multiple core functions. When added to water-based coatings, oil-based paints and printing inks, it can effectively adjust the gloss of coatings, turn bright paint surface into soft matte texture, and improve surface uniformity. In daily chemical and food industries, high-purity silicon dioxide is a safe and harmless functional material. In toothpaste production, it is used as a mild friction agent and thickener. It can gently remove dental plaque and tooth surface stains without damaging tooth enamel, while improving the consistency and stability of toothpaste, avoiding water separation. In cosmetics and skin care products, it acts as an oil-absorbing filler and anti-caking agent, which can absorb excess skin oil, keep skin dry and refreshing, and prevent powder cosmetics from caking and agglomerating. In the food industry, it is a common food additive, used as an anti-caking agent for powdered food such as milk powder, coffee powder and seasoning powder to keep the powder loose and free-flowing, and it meets national food safety standards for safe use.

In addition, silicon dioxide has broad application prospects in many emerging and traditional industries. In papermaking, it is used as a filler to improve paper whiteness, smoothness and ink absorption, making printed handwriting clearer. In pesticide and fertilizer production, it serves as a carrier and anti-caking agent to improve the dispersion and stability of active ingredients.
