Food grade diatomaceous earth is a non-toxic, natural mineral derived from fossilized diatoms, with a core component of silicon dioxide (80%-85%) and 23+ essential trace elements (iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, etc.). As a high-quality animal feed additive, it is processed through strict purification (acid washing + low-temperature drying) to ensure no heavy metals (Pb≤0.1mg/kg, As≤0.05mg/kg) or harmful impurities.
Its porous structure (porosity 80%-88%, specific surface area 25-50 m²/g) enables it to adsorb mold toxins (aflatoxin, ochratoxin) and intestinal parasites in animals, while the rich trace elements supplement mineral deficiencies in modern feeds. It improves feed conversion rate by 8%-12%, reduces animal mortality by 5%-8%, enhances immune function, and reduces farm odor by adsorbing ammonia in manure. Chemically stable, it is compatible with all types of feeds (poultry, livestock, aquatic) and has no withdrawal period for eggs or meat.
