Precipitated barium sulfate (BaSO₄) is a high purity, synthetic functional filler widely used in solvent based, water based, and powder resin coatings. Produced by controlled chemical precipitation, it offers ultrafine particle size, narrow distribution, high whiteness, low oil absorption, and excellent chemical inertness.
